The Role
We are looking for a senior consultant who clients ask for by name. You will lead technical and functional conversations with client stakeholders, own solution design on complex P2P and O2C automation engagements, and act as the trusted advisor who turns platform capability into measurable business value. You will also work AI-natively from day one - using our agents and tooling in your daily delivery and helping shape where they go next.
This is a role for someone with a genuine consulting background who is confident running the room: workshops, escalations, executive reviews, and everything in between.
One thing to know before you apply: we are not hiring someone to run an established playbook. We are looking for a co-creator - someone who wants to help redefine what product implementation looks like in the AI era. The consulting model that dominated the last twenty years is being rewritten right now, and we intend to be one of the firms writing it. If that excites you more than it scares you, keep reading.
What You Will Do
Client Leadership & Value Delivery
- Lead technical and functional discussions with client stakeholders - discovery workshops, design sessions, sprint demos, escalation calls, and improvement reviews.
- Act as a trusted advisor on process optimization, configuration strategy, and platform capability, translating technology into measurable business outcomes.
- Own value realization on your accounts: initiate improvements beyond the stated scope that move real client KPIs - touchless invoice rate, exception volume, invoice cycle time, days-to-pay.
- Support project scoping, change request evaluation, and effort estimation for enhancements.
- Influence customer decision-making and manage expectations with confidence and composure.
- Represent the firm externally in workshops, executive reviews, webinars, and partner conversations - building a narrative from scratch and adjusting it to the audience, from AP clerk to CFO.
Co-Creating AI-Era Delivery
- Help redefine how product implementation works in the AI era - our methodology is actively being rebuilt around agentic AI, and this role has a real seat at that table.
- Use AI agents and internal AI tooling as a core part of daily delivery - solution design, configuration analysis, documentation, and client insights.
- Identify opportunities to apply agentic AI within client P2P and O2C processes and shape those into solution recommendations.
- Feed real engagement learnings back into our internal agents, skills, and methodology - including building or improving reusable AIDA skills the wider team adopts. You will help build the firm, not just work at it.
Solution Design & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end solution configuration strategy and deployment planning for P2P, O2C, and finance automation projects.
- Review and validate configurations built by the wider team to ensure alignment with business requirements and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business objectives into functional and technical solutions.
- Support integration strategy, including data flow mapping, API utilization, and cross-system dependencies.
- Lead release and cutover planning and own dependency and risk management on high-risk go-lives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Advanced Issue Resolution
- Open dead ends: take on the client problems others could not solve, find a viable path, and drive the follow-through.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex or critical incidents across client environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and drive long-term corrective actions.
- Champion proactive monitoring to reduce incidents and improve system stability.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
- Mentor and coach consultants on advanced configuration, issue resolution, and client skills.
- Review deliverables and provide constructive, developmental feedback.
- Lead internal enablement on new tools, methodologies, and platform capabilities.

How We Define Senior
We level this role against five dimensions: Impact, Complexity & Independence, Craftsmanship, Collaboration & Communication, and AI-Native Delivery. Senior means showing these consistently, across more than one account, without being asked - the person who moves a client KPI every quarter, who the team routes its hardest problems to, and whose feedback people actively seek. Your quarterly scorecard and growth plan are built on this same framework, so how you are hired is exactly how you will grow.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- 7+ years delivering P2P, AP, O2C, or AR automation solutions in a consulting or advisory delivery role.
- Track record of client leadership: running workshops, driving requirement sessions, advising senior stakeholders, and managing escalations.
- Evidence of moving measurable client outcomes - be ready to talk about a KPI you improved, a dead end you opened, or an initiative you drove beyond the original scope.
- Experience leading end-to-end implementations or major workstreams with minimal oversight.
- Background mentoring consultants, reviewing deliverables, and contributing to project governance.
- Demonstrated success influencing customer decision-making and managing expectations.
Technical Skills
- Expert understanding of Procure-to-Pay and/or Order-to-Cash workflows, including AP/AR automation and ERP integration.
- Advanced configuration expertise in one or more leading platforms (e.g., Basware, Coupa, Ariba, Esker, Tradeshift, HighRadius). Basware experience is a strong plus - deep expertise in a comparable platform is welcome, and we will train you on Basware.
- Solid grasp of data mapping, API frameworks, SFTP, and middleware integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability, including performance optimization and root-cause diagnostics.
- SQL or automation scripting experience is a plus.

AI Fluency
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in professional consulting or delivery work - you should be able to show us how AI has changed the way you work.
- Strongly preferred: experience designing, prompting, or deploying AI agents or automation workflows, and familiarity with how LLMs apply to finance operations (invoice processing, matching, exception handling).
How You Work
- Co-creator's mindset: you see the AI shift as a once-in-a-career chance to shape how implementation is done, not a threat to how you have always done it. Comfortable in a firm where the tools and methodology evolve monthly - and eager to drive that evolution.
- Exceptional problem-solving with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
- Excellent client-facing communication, including facilitation of complex, high-stakes discussions.
- Strategic thinking that balances client needs, technical feasibility, and delivery governance.
- Calm, confident decision-making when handling high-severity issues.
- Business fluency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant P2P/O2C automation training or platform certification is a plus.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
- Compensation is competitive and regionally benchmarked to your location and experience, with quarterly performance-linked upside through our scorecard and growth-plan system.
- Fully remote, with significant EST business-hours overlap required and flexibility across global time zones.
- Travel is required upon client request (workshops, key milestones, on-site sessions).
Where This Role Goes
We invest in progression, and this role has two defined paths:
- Solution Architect (24-36 months): Grow into architectural leadership by deepening cross-platform integration expertise, strategic client advisory, and firm-wide influence on delivery standards.
- Team Lead (12-18 months): Grow into delivery leadership by consistently owning complex solutions, coaching senior consultants, and contributing to practice standards and quality frameworks.
