Senior Solution Consultant
Senior Solution Consultant – ERP AI & Financial Operations
Location: Fully remote (base), UK/London (30% travel)
Zone & Company is the ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, purpose-built for organizations running on Oracle NetSuite. We redefine how finance teams operate by embedding intelligence directly into NetSuite, automating workflows across financial lifecycle stages—including Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, Payroll, and Record-to-Report.
About the Role
Reporting to the Solution Consulting leadership, the Senior Solution Consultant is a strategic partner for pre-sales, specialising in Accounts Payable automation, Treasury management, and Reporting, with growth into other areas (e.g., Order-to-Cash). This role leads high-value deals for large enterprise clients, shaping technical solutions tailored to finance teams at the CFO, Controller, and FP&A leadership levels.
Key focus:
- Tech-to-business translation: Bridging finance challenges with AI-first solutions for NetSuite users.
- Deal co-leadership: Collaborate with Account Executives to consistently land complex, higher-value deals.
- Mentor and enable: Playbook development, junior consultant coaching, and competitive positioning.
- AI fluency: Embed AI-native tools into selling strategies (e.g., leveraging generative AI for scripting, customer data analysis).
30% travel budget to support client engagements across UK/EMEA.
Responsibilities
Deal Strategy & Execution
- Lead end-to-end demos for enterprise deals, aligning technical delivery with customer objectives, risk mitigation, and financial ROI narratives.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to surface pain points, architecting solution strategies during discovery phases.
- Expertly gather customer technical requirements ahead of demos and own a tailored solution narrative (e.g., pain points → zone product → measurable outcomes like "reducing reconciliation errors by 30%").
- Coach junior Solution Consultants (SCs) and AEs on high-value skills (e.g., competitive differentiation, storytelling with financial data).
- Partner with Customer Success, Professional Services, and NetSuite teams to maintain seamless pre-sales and post-sale handoffs.

Enablement & Knowledge Leadership
- Maintain live, production-ready demo environments reflective of real-world accounts payable, Treasury, and reporting scenarios.
- Create and update enablement assets (scripts, videos, contracts, buyer playbooks) to ensure the Sales team delivers consistent messaging.
- Guide product evolution: Feed insights from customer engagements into Zone’s competitive intelligence (tracking tasks via [platform like Klue]) and roadmap discussions with Product & Marketing.
- Shaping RFP responses with deep technical and commercial insights.
AI-Driven Process Innovation
- Integrate AI tools into "how we sell": Leveraging AI to generate insights, demo continuity, and personalised financial storylines.
- Maintain policy of ongoing self-up-skilling in AI advancements applicable to financial workflow optimisation.
Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- 7+ years in solution consulting, pre-sales, or financial systems, or strong finance/ERP expertise (e.g., public accounting, financial consulting, or financial ops roles with NetSuite).
- Outspoken champion of finance operations: Fluency expected in accounts payable applying automation, Treasury management best practices, and reporting optimization.
- Ready to transition into one additional specialty (e.g., Billing and Revenue Recognition).
- Technical exposure to ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday) or financial tools (e.g., Ramp, Tipalti).
Technical Fit
- Hands-on fluency with NetSuite’s architecture or comparable ERP ecosystems (or power-user insight to make expertise transferable).
- Mandatory comfort presenting technical scripts (even inadvertently unscripted) to CFOs and board level.
