The Opportunity
Board International is hiring a self-motivated, highly skilled, and analytical Senior Solution Consultant for our Pre-Sales Team, specialising in the retail industry segment in Northern Europe.
You’ll join a fast-growing global retail practice, working with a cutting-edge product at the forefront of its market. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving complex challenges, turning insights into action, and helping businesses unlock value through Board Solutions.

- Resonate with enterprise prospects: Identify inefficiencies in business processes, pain points, and collaborate to refine and improve complex workflows
- Advise stakeholders strategically: Partner with industry experts, account executives, and clients to articulate challenges—helping us deliver tailored solutions
- Elevate value through engagement: Deliver customer-centric presentations and demonstrations, showcasing how Board’s platform transforms planning and decision-making
- Empower deal success (RFP/RFI):
- Drive compelling Board Solutions Demos & Proof of Concepts for prospects and existing customers
- Contribute to competitive RFPs, ensuring technical insights align perfectly with customer needs
- Grow thought leaders around you: Mentor and cross-train colleagues and partners to deepen subject expertise on Board’s offerings
- Boost market awareness: Promote Board solutions tailored to strategic retail objectives
- Design seamless experiences: Ensure board’s SaaS and technical architecture meets customer analytical demands—bridging business and tech perfectly
- Drive smooth transitions: Document and handoff key deal learnings to implementation teams for successful client onboarding
Your Qualifications
Essential Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in retail (pre-sales) capacity or retail-focused consulting
- Hands-on expertise in Merchandise Planning processes and planning applications (experience with these tools is critical)
- Deep familiarity with Merchandise Planning, Supply Planning, and Retail Optimization techniques

- Trusted advisor mindset—able to position yourself as an industry thought leader in strategic planning
- Pitch-perfect presentation, storytelling, relationship, and interpersonal skills (both internally and externally)
- Consultative selling: deep listening skills that shape solutions to meet customer vision and needs
- Experience with multi-dimensional planning models, BI tools, or Analytics (e.g., Board, Anaplan, Pigment, among others)
- Growth mentality: Proactive, adaptive, and keen to challenge legacy methods for better ways forward
