About the Role
Board International is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated, and analytically-minded Senior Solution Consultant to join our Pre-Sales team, specialising in the retail industry segment within Northern Europe. This role is part of our global retail practice.
As a Senior Solution Consultant, you’ll help clients solve complex problems, demonstrate how Board Solutions and Platform can unlock value, and elevate business processes.

Your impact will be transformative:
- Engage with high-value, enterprise-level prospects to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for improvement—positioning Board as a trusted business partner.
- Partner with industry specialists and account executives to refine engagement strategies and align solutions with targeted challenges.
- Deliver tailored, strategic, and immersive presentations (including demos) to articulate Board’s value proposition to both prospects and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to complete RFPs, RFIs, and execute persuasive Solution Demos, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), or Value Propositions.
- Cross-train teams and partners to foster expertise in Board Solutions, ensuring they can represent the product confidently.
- Raise product and solution awareness in the market through industry engagement and thought leadership.
- Ensure technical alignment between Board’s SaaS and offerings with clients’ analytical needs, bridging strategy and execution.
- Document and transfer deal knowledge to implementation teams, ensuring seamless transitions for successful proposals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in retail pre-sales, consulting, or planning-related roles.
- Proven expertise in Merchandise Planning processes—knowledge of planning applications is mandatory.
- Preferable: experience with Merchandise Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Forecasting, and retail optimisation tools.
- Ability to develop thought leadership and build credibility as clients’ trusted advisors in the planning space.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills—internal and external.
- Must excel at consultative selling: listening to client needs and co-creating solutions through shared vision.
- Experience with multi-dimensional planning models, BI (Business Intelligence), or analytics tools (e.g., Board, Anaplan, Pigment).
- Growth mindset: Energetic in challenging legacy processes and driving innovation.
