Senior Solution Consultant – Retail (Northern Europe)
Board, an Intelligent Planning Platform trusted by thousands of leading global organizations, is seeking a highly talented Senior Solution Consultant focused on the retail industry, based in the Northern Europe region. Part of our global retail practice, you will shape the future of retail planning and help enterprises elevate their processes.

As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will engage with large enterprise prospects, identify opportunities for efficiency, and position Board as their trusted business partner. You will bring Board’s vision to life through tailored presentations, demos, and immersive solutions that directly address retail challenges.
Your Impact
You will play a crucial role in:
- Engaging large enterprise prospects to highlight inefficient processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
- Partnering with the retail sales team to deepen understanding of technical and operational challenges
- Developing high-impact customer-focused presentations and demos that illustrate Board’s strategic value proposition
- Collaborating on RFP/RFI responses, executing proof-of-concept (POC) and value demos for leads and customers
- Mentoring and upskilling teammates and partners on Board’s product, integration, and retail-specific applications
- Fostering enterprise-wide awareness of Board’s retail solutions
- Ensuring technical alignment between Board’s advanced analytics platform and customer requirements
- Documenting and transferring deal expertise to the implementation team for seamless transitions

Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in retail pre-sales or retail consulting, preferably in merchandise planning or supply chain optimization
- Proven expertise in merchandise planning processes and planning applications (essential)
- Preferred experience in multidimensional planning models (Board, Anaplan, Pigment), retail analytics, or BI technologies
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership as a trusted advisor in retail planning to prospects and customers
- Outstanding presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills for both internal and external relations
- Comfortable with a consultative selling approach – actively listening to customer needs and co-creating solutions
- A growth mindset with a track record of challenging traditional methods
