What You’ll Do

As the Solution Sales Executive, you’ll partner end-to-end with account teams to drive solution-specific sales motions, address customer challenges, and expand the SAP footprint through renewals, upsells, and customer success strategies.

  • Generate demand, manage pipeline, and close opportunities
  • Develop compelling opportunity plans with tailored solution value propositions
  • Conduct white space analyses to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate on sales campaigns with wider account teams
  • Manage relationships within the solution area/buying center
  • Progress opportunities for:
    • Cloud migrations
    • Footprint expansions
    • New-to-solution accounts
  • Apply deep business model, strategy, and process expertise
  • Monitor SAP competitors and value drivers
  • Leverage SAP’s expert network & industry knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Engage customers in SAP communities, programs, and events
  • Foster ecosystem collaboration with partners

What You Bring

Qualified candidates must deliver measurable success in high-achieving software/IT sales roles.

  • Proven sales track record: Overachieved quotas in business application software sales
  • 3–5 years experience in:
    • Sales of enterprise software/IT solutions
    • Solution/integration portfolio understanding
    • Renewals, expansions, and upsells of subscriptions/perpetual licenses
    • High-value transactions & complex sales pursuits
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Solution innovations and business processes enabled by SAP
    • SAP’s competitive landscape and value propositions
    • Financial/competitive/regulatory environments
  • Strong relationships with:
    • Account teams
    • Customer Business Office (CBO) teams
    • Geographic unit leaders
  • Bonus attributes: alignment with sales/solution management and marketing
