Summary

We’re seeking a Network Infrastructure Pre-Sales Designer (Senior Solutions Architect) to join our evolving Pre Sales team in our NG Bailey IT Services Division. This will be a great opportunity for a forward-thinking individual who thrives on shaping client solutions. You’ll play a key role in driving value across customer engagements, bring innovative solutions to design challenges across multiple technology categories with primary focus on UCaaS, CCaaS, SD-WAN, connectivity, network routing and switching and all ancillary and supporting technologies. You’ll research, develop, and evolve technology solutions using the available products and services and by bringing new products and services into the organisation to meet customer demands. This role will have a requirement to transition solutions into operational delivery and to work with project delivery teams providing technical direction and leadership within solution delivery.

Some of the key deliverables for the role will include:

Keep up to date with current market trends based on the technical specialisation Understand design principles and best practices, interacting with other team members to assemble premium solutions Ensure compliance to industry, H&S and Client specific standards Solely responsible for the design, pricing, customer facing presentations and documents and proposals documents and take the lead and drive multiple opportunities to conclusion across multiple technology streams Maintain technical proficiency across all the solutions that NG Bailey IT Services offer. This will enable the individual to specify the correct High-Level Design, Bill of Materials and accurate scoping of the number of Engineering and Professional Services days required to deliver the solution Take the lead in developing strong technically accurate proposals and bid response documents with the creativity to build bespoke documents and show both in narrative, with info graphics and technical diagrams the solution being offered and the value to the customer Attend customer meetings with Account Managers and Sales leads to help gather business and technical requirements. These requirements will be documented and become the input for the High-Level Design Document Support the evolving technical roadmap of service offerings bringing insight and value add to customer engagements Provide technical updates to customers as required. These will align with the technical strategy for that customer Ensure all appropriate information is constantly updated accurately within the operational systems. Ensure all appropriate information for billing has been accurately updated ensure sales and operations teams are informed of any changes to solutions designs

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience working with multiple technology vendors such as: HPe, Cisco, Ring Central, Mitel, Gamma, Meraki, Ruckus, Talk Talk, BT, Nokia, Ericsson, Solar Winds, Dell, VM Ware, Microsoft Demonstrable experience of designing network solutions and communications solutions such as Cloud based UCaaS, SD-WAN, Networking, Wireless communications Previous experience of designing WiFi solutions using EKAHAU software/sidekick etc Design Qualifications that are vendor driven or align with CCID, CCIE,CNIDP Demonstrate the ability to interface with customers with a professional and informative approach and undertake customer facing presentations where you will lead the debate Due to client specific security conditions, the successful candidate must be willing to enter the SC clearance and EDBS check process
