This role is remote-first, with occasional travel to Morley, Leeds for key collaboration moments.
About the Role
This isn’t your typical architecture role. Here, you’ll be responsible for shaping strategy, defining architectural direction, and delivering impactful AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Solution Architect – AI and Automation, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture of AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions across enterprise platforms
- Define and evolve architecture standards, principles, and governance aligned with long-term strategy
- Partner with business leaders and product teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-impact solutions
- Design integrated, cloud-native architectures that are secure, resilient, and future-ready
- Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions are built correctly the first time—balancing innovation, risk, and speed
- Influence the technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging AI capabilities
- Mentor and elevate other architects, helping grow capability across the function

Requirements
We’re looking for a credible and senior architect who balances deep technical expertise with strong business influence.
Your profile should include:
- Proven experience architecture AI, Generative AI, and automation solutions at enterprise scale
- Strong background across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern architecture patterns
- Deep knowledge of integration (APIs, microservices, messaging), and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and low-code automation ecosystems
- Solid understanding of ML, GenAI, MLOps, and DevOps practices
- Experience influencing stakeholders and shaping technical strategy in complex environments
- The ability to simplify complexity and communicate with impact at all levels
