Location: Remote but travel to office location Rugby, Valley Cross once per week plus travel to sites as required.

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Design Manager to join our dynamic team, where your proven expertise in designing and implementing innovative warehouse solutions will shine. As our go-to subject matter expert, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to create tailored solutions that not only meet customer needs but also drive DHL's growth agenda.
What You'll Do
- Design Excellence: Create end-to-end operational solutions, from data analysis to layout design using tools like AutoCAD or SketchUp. Considering all operational impacts, identifying, and mitigating risks as well as providing commercial insights to key stakeholders for both existing facilities and new build scenarios.
- Be Digital by Default: Embed digital thinking across our solutions, using data, automation, and AI as the foundation of how we work and how we grow.
- Lead with Impact: Manage multiple projects, oversee design principles, and guide junior team members while ensuring operational excellence. Use influencing skills with stakeholders, for example, to gain operational buy-in on a solution.
- Innovate: Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing to future-proof designs and benchmark against industry best practices. Be proactive in challenging ways of working with your practice, regularly lead peer reviews, and provide technical feedback to enhance the quality of bid responses.

What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a role equivalent to a Solutions Design Manager or Warehouse Solutions Designer.
- Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain experience. Finding solutions to problems and defining your own concepts.
- Expertise in data modelling and, extrapolating and interpreting data, problem-solving, and process optimisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and secure buy-in.
- A passion for taking ownership of projects and driving efficiency.
- Knowledge of divisional supply chain products and capabilities, with an understanding of DHL sectors, customers, and products.
