Responsibilities

You’ll work as a Senior Solutions Engineer II to support Capital Markets opportunities in Europe. The role focuses on leading technical solutions throughout the customer lifecycle—from initial discovery to post-sale expansion—while collaborating closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading the technical strategy and solution architecture for Capital Markets opportunities alongside Business Development.
  • Conducting technical discovery sessions to uncover client needs, regulatory hurdles, and integration constraints.
  • Designing and presenting scalable solution architectures, including APIs, transaction flows, custody models, and settlement processes.
  • Developing proof-of-concepts and validation frameworks to guide enterprise decision-making.
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to identify gaps, influence prioritisation, and improve integration experiences.
  • Supporting post-sale implementation alongside Client Success to align delivery with technical roadmaps and business objectives.
  • Representing Circle externally in industry events, technical workshops, and direct client engagements.
  • Maintaining an internal knowledge repository for existing and upcoming products.
  • Supporting the Global Solutions Engineering team with internal initiatives.

Work Geography

  • Based in Europe (country TBC closely tied to aligning with business initiatives).
  • Regular travel (up to 25% of the role) is required for external events, meetings, and client engagements with partners across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

Core Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Product Manager, preferably in Web3, FinTech, or Capital Markets.
  • Articulator of the Complex: Able to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
  • Communicative Expert: Excels in conversations, from one-on-one discussions to large-team presentations.
  • Strategic Solver: Combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Client Centric: Recognised for fostering strong relationships with Sales, Client Success, and Product/Engineering teams.
  • Technical Accomplishments: Proven track record of designing and validating technical solutions, particularly for large-scale enterprises.
  • Tech Expertise: Hands-on experience with API testing, database querying, and technical flow conceptualisation.
  • Collaborative Partner: Demonstrated history of working closely with developers on SaaS integration and product development.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced environments and prioritises building cross-functional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical team management, or leadership roles within regional or global departments.
  • Hands-on experience with blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenised assets, or digital custody solutions.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance frameworks relevant to global Capital Markets.
  • Resilience to regular travel demands (up to 25%, EMEA-centric).
