Senior Sous Chef
You will report to the Head Chef, responsible for the smooth running of your designated section in the Kitchen. To ensure all food service areas achieve a consistently high standard of food presentation suitable to that of an ambitious 4-star Hotel.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Supervising and training kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Developing and executing innovative menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
- Overseeing food preparations, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Marinating inventory and ordering supplies, ensuring cost-effective and efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

- 2 AA Rosette location experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and trend
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Fluency in written and spoken English
