Senior Sous Chef – Step into a Role That Truly Makes a Difference
Location: Northwood HQ, HA6 3HP
Salary: £36,336.76
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours/week, mainly Mon – Fri with occasional weekends
Shifts: between 0600-2030
Aramark UK are on the lookout for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join our buzzing team at Northwood HQ — a site with three busy kitchens and a whole lot of variety. Why this role is special
At Northwood, you’ll help lead a high performing kitchen where pace, teamwork, and creativity come together. You’ll provide leadership to the kitchen team, maintaining operational efficiency while developing staff and driving continuous improvement, producing up to 300 meals at a time and keeping service running smoothly. Organisation, calmness under pressure, and a passion for great food are key.
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of our work, you must:
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be able to pass full security vetting and an enhanced DBS check

What you’ll do:
As our Senior Sous Chef, you’ll:
- Lead kitchen shifts in the Head Chef’s absence, producing up to 1000 meals during peak times
- Motivate, organise, and support the wider team to deliver smooth, efficient service
- Prepare dishes to spec with full understanding of menu and allergen requirements
You’ll thrive here if you have:
- A relevant culinary qualification
- Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready for the next step
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure
- The required residency, right to work, and ability to pass security vetting
