We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Sous Chef to join our team.

This is a position for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to work across two locations, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, capable of leading and motivating a team, and providing strong support to the Executive Chef.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • Overseeing daily health & safety documentation
  • Ensuring smooth kitchen operations at all times

Producing and developing the highest standard of food within the required time and financial targets, you’ll step into the Head Chef’s shoes when required. You also have ideas of your own, and will be keen to develop new initiatives to improve standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent
  • Food Safety and Health and Safety certificates at level 2
  • Confident in working knowledge of COSHH & HACCP
  • 2 years’ experience working in a similar size operation would be an advantage, along with some experience in supervising others

Salary

Up to £45,000, plus overtime paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate.
