About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Sous Chef to join our esteemed kitchen team. The Senior Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining culinary standards, and contributing to menu development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
  • Oversee and actively participate in the cooking and presentation of dishes.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Take Leadership responsibility in the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent.
  • Contribute to menu development and innovation.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and quality control of kitchen supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant/luxury establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • A passion for culinary arts and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment.
