Senior Sous Chef

As our Senior Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team and ensure a consistently outstanding culinary experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and service flow
  • Train, motivate, and support junior team members
  • Uphold portion control, stock rotation, and waste management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Kitchen Management

  • Maintain mise en place and prep standards across all sections
  • Manage orders, weekly reporting, and stock inventories
  • Collaborate on new dish development and seasonal menus
  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef in a premium or high-volume setting
  • Natural leadership skills and a calm, hands-on approach
  • A passion for high-quality, creative cuisine
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen health & safety standards
  • In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live or work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
