From leisurely lunches in our elegant dining room to cocktails on the terrace, private celebrations in The Foundry Room, and long summer evenings gathered around the firepits, every detail is designed to create an exceptional guest experience. Our menus celebrate the best of the seasons, combining premium pub classics with bold, contemporary dishes, all prepared using quality ingredients and genuine culinary care.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to become a key leader within the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef to drive standards, develop the team, and help shape the future of our food offering.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll confidently oversee service, manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, and help create a culture built around quality, consistency, and teamwork.
This is an opportunity for a chef who enjoys leading people just as much as creating exceptional food.
