Role Purpose
Are you a passionate Sous Chef looking to shape the food offering at one of London's most iconic venues?
This is a unique opportunity to join Sky Garden as a dedicated Events Senior Sous Chef, working alongside the Rhubarb Events team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences while influencing and developing event food standards across the wider operation.
You will oversee production and event execution across our flagship events at Sky Garden, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, creativity and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the planning, preparation and delivery of premium food experiences for Sky Garden's diverse portfolio of corporate, private, hospitality and VIP events.
- Acting as the key culinary link between the Rhubarb Events team and Sky Garden operations, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Coaching and developing chefs across Sky Garden to successfully deliver Rhubarb Events recipes, service styles and presentation standards.
- Supporting menu development, tastings and the implementation of innovative food concepts across events, group dining and terrace activations.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, consistency, presentation and guest experience across all event formats.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within an events, banqueting, hospitality or high-volume premium catering environment.
- Strong operational experience managing multiple events and services simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- A confident leader with the ability to coach, mentor and develop chefs within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of food safety, allergen management, stock control, ordering and recipe management systems.
Good to know
This is a on-site position based between Sky Garden and our SW London events kitchen, offering a salary of £47,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll be part of a exciting events environment, delivering everything from intimate VIP experiences to large-scale corporate and private events.
