Overview
Reports To: SC Recovery Manager
This is a Supervisory Position
Functions Supervised: Recovery
Primary Functions: Perform collection activity on assigned accounts.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a Special Credits Recovery Officer III.
- Responsible for the review of Recovery collection and associated work and for making recommendations regarding the need for adjustment in work routines.
- Responsible for daily management of work flow, responsible for general ledger accounting, preparation of monthly reports / portfolio analysis, daily processing / calendars, and processing collection agency assignment reports.
- Responsible for management of assignments and recalls to and from collection agencies and/or legal actions on collection accounts in order to optimize recoveries and minimize expenses.
- Develop and train staff to understand and comply with all policies, laws and procedures as they relate to collections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Must have at least four years experience in the consumer collection field with proven ability to effectively collect delinquent accounts. Must have advanced knowledge of all office equipment and systems used for collections to include credit card and active collection software products for daily, weekly, and monthly collection operations. Must have a proven ability to evaluate difficult situations and exercise good judgment. Must have good human relation skills and a strong personality to effectively handle adverse situations routinely.

Compensation
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.

$69,557 - $112,677 annually
