We are searching for a Client Operations Representative, Senior Specialist to join our Global Collateral Operations team based in Manchester, UK. This dynamic role will allow you to make an impact daily by resolving complex client challenges, championing operational excellence, and nurturing client relationships in a globally collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a breadth of high-impact operational and client-centric duties, including:

Client Engagement & Issue Resolution
- Boldly address complex day-to-day client queries and operational/technical challenges, directing clients and escalating to senior resources as needed.
- Deliver bespoke, cutting-edge solutions by leveraging advanced problem-solving, prioritising clarity, and combining deep financial expertise with agile thinking.
- Maintain proactiveness in monitoring account setups and ensuring optimal client activity, collaborating internally to refine future product offerings.

Specialist Information Delivery
- Provide clients with detailed, accurate insights on securities settlement, payments, and collateral optimisation—expanding your knowledge across all geographies and BNY product lines.
- Translate technical jargon into actionable, client-friendly guidance on credit exposures, failing items, and risk mitigation strategies.

Operations & Processes
- Develop and refine internal procedures, ensuring smooth operational workflows.
- Diagnose and suggest improvements based on new KRI (Key Result Indicators) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), aligning metrics to elevate client service standards.
- Support collaboration across teams to identify efficiency gains and streamline legislative/compliance requirements.

Requirements
To thrive as a Client Operations Representative, Senior Specialist, we seek a driven professional with:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
- Extensive operational or client-facing experience—preferably in collateral management or finance, with exposure to BNY’s dynamic ecosystem a plus.
- A proven credentials in innovative problem-solving, including experience driving process change and adopting new, high-impact methodologies.
Technical & Data Skills
- Advanced capability with AI/digital tools, with a light coding or automation background considered highly beneficial.
- Mastery of data analysis, process optimisation, and common business tools (e.g., Excel, blockchain/congestion analytics systems).
Soft Skills
- Unmatched communication clarity, embodying confidence when engaging at senior levels—ensuring clients and stakeholders never feel overwhelmed.
- Exceptional judgement and ownership, combining strategic thinking with undeterred tenacity when diagnosing and resolving challenges.
- Collaborative leadership without direct managerial responsibility, thriving in fluid, high-pressure environments that pivot constantly.
- Strong people skills, process focus, and an eye for spotting emergency support gaps creatively.
