Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Problem Resolution

  • Work directly with external clients to address and resolve complex operational and technical issues, ensuring prompt and effective execution.
  • Handle telecommunications with stakeholders via phone and email for queries related to securities settlement, payments, and collateral optimisation.
  • Provide specialised knowledge on BNY’s global products and services, drawing from deep company expertise.

Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate internally to refine operational procedures and enhance their scalability.
  • Identify and optimize client activity and account setups, fostering efficiency.
  • Develop and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for monitoring client performance, and suggest improvements based on findings.

team Mentorship & Development

  • Share insights and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues through knowledge-sharing.
  • Maintain healthy client relationships through regular service reviews, prioritising a collaborative approach.

Problem-Solving & Innovation

  • Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to transform complex inquiries into actionable solutions.
  • Use expertise to assess credit exposure and complement discussions on incorrect itemisation.
  • Leverage AI-driven processes and digital tools, with utilisation of light coding as a plus.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage cutting-edge technologies effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent accrued experience).
  • Preferred: Postgraduate workshop education or vocational career training.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Extensive industry experience, ideally in operational roles, client services, or collateral management.
  • Expertise in AI and digital toolset applications, supplemented by light coding experience in domain-specific currencies.
  • Demonstrable ability to drive change and innovation using new technologies.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving, knowledge-sharing, and stakeholder communication skills, respected by both internal and external clients.
  • Proven capacity for independent work as well as collaborative development within a global team.
  • Thrives within high-pace, dynamic workstreams, adept at time-management and task prioritisation.
