Senior Specialist, Operations Oversight – Transfer Agency (Manchester, UK)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Operations Oversight to join our BNY Transfer Agency team in Manchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage oversight capabilities to ensure Transfer Agency operations meet and exceed client service standards, covering:
    • Transaction processing
    • Records maintenance
    • Payments
    • Reconciliation
    • Other critical operational functions

  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day operational queries, issues, and incidents, analyzing data to:

    • Monitor performance
    • Drive continuous improvement
    • Maintain and review relevant procedures
  • Support the Operations Manager with:

    • Daily workflow management
    • Team training and development
    • Periodic reviews and audits with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including:

    • CASS, COLL, COBS
    • DISP, GDPR
    • Consumer Duty (where applicable)

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

    • Combination of training/experience demonstrating suitability for the role.
    • A relevant bachelor’s degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Financial Services Experience:

    • Preference for operational roles in financial services.
    • Experience in transaction processing/client reporting strongly valued.
