Senior Specialist, Operations Oversight – Transfer Agency (Manchester, UK)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Operations Oversight based in the Manchester, UK Transfer Agency team to ensure seamless client service, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Conduct oversight of work processed in operational processing centers, ensuring all client service standards are met or exceeded. This includes transaction processing, records maintenance, payments, reconciliations, and other processes for Transfer Agency operations.

Issue Resolution & Improvement: Investigate and resolve day-to-day operational queries, issues, and incidents. Analyse data to monitor performance and actively contribute to continuous improvement, including reviewing and maintaining key procedures.

Training & Workflow Support: Assist the Operations Manager in managing daily workflows, delivering training and development, and actively participating in internal and external audits and reviews.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to client-specific and applicable regulatory requirements, including CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR, and Consumer Duty.
Successful Applicant Will Possess
- A combination of educational attainment, training, and experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the role's core responsibilities. While a bachelor's degree may be advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Experience within a financial services operational role (e.g., transaction processing or client reporting) is preferred, though transferable skills will also be considered.
- Experience with AI/Digital Tools or a willingness to develop this skillset is advantageous.
