We’re now seeking an exceptional Senior Specialist, Corporate Actions to join our Manchester-based BNY Pershing Corporate Actions team. This role is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful difference in financial services while working with a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Key aspects of this role include:
- Capturing data from various provider systems
- Communicating with clients via e-mail and telephone when necessary
- Working under tight deadlines influenced by market timing
- Ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions through data analysis
- Utilising bespoke systems to input and extract information efficiently

Requirements
To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Strong Excel skills – Ability to use formulas, data analysis tools, and advanced functions
- Attention to detail – Demonstrated expertise in identifying and correcting errors in processes or procedures
- Practical experience working to short deadlines, particularly in high-pressure environments
- Highly numerate, with core numerical skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills to effectively balance workloads
- Experience using non-Microsoft systems (e.g., bespoke employer systems) where applicable
- Experience reconciling financial or transactional data
- Ability to utilse workflow systems requiring diary notes or systematic record-keeping
- Prior understanding of the financial services sector
- Familiarity with handling and processing customer data securely
