Role Overview

This post is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, committed, and experienced clinical practitioner to strengthen their safeguarding portfolio and to lead and drive safeguarding activity within the organisation. You will be a key leader in the safeguarding team which consists of Named Nurses (community, acute, adult, and midwifery services), Specialist Nurses for Safeguarding, Looked After Children, Multi Agency Safeguarding, and Complex Safeguarding Hub Specialist Nurses and Administration staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and effective services for safeguarding vulnerable children and adults remains a priority for all colleagues working within the organisation across community and acute services.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a flair for critically evaluating information and recording it in a concise and accurate manner.
  • Comfortable working under pressure.
  • Adept at prioritising and working flexibly often to tight deadlines.
  • Possess professional curiosity and the ability to make professional challenges.
