Senior Sports Therapist
Circle Integrated Care - West Hertfordshire
37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £38,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Sports Therapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
- Manage a complex clinical caseload, providing comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation to the highest professional standards.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment programmes for patients presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports injury and rehabilitation conditions.
- Provide clinical direction and support to Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and other members of the MSK team.
- Support the team to deliver care that improves the health of individuals and the wider community.
- Maintain professional standards in accordance with BASRaT, SST and relevant professional codes of conduct.
- Support the team in delivering compassionate care through effective relationships built on empathy, dignity and respect.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- Degree in Sports Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Membership of BASRaT (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers) or Society of Sports Therapists (SST).
- Significant post-registration experience managing musculoskeletal and sports injury caseloads.
- Experience working within NHS commissioned healthcare services.
- Advanced musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation principles.
- Knowledge of professional codes, standards and guidelines relevant to Sports Therapy practice.
- Knowledge of CQC requirements, Care Standards legislation and quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience supporting and developing junior staff.
- Excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competent IT skills including clinical systems, Microsoft Office and electronic patient records.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritise effectively.
