- Position: Full Time role of 37.5 hours a week
Priory Hospital Cardiff has an opportunity for a Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme. Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices.

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans in partnership with patients and their families. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and external professionals to ensure safe, effective care, maintaining accurate clinical records and escalating concerns appropriately. Support and supervise junior staff, students, and healthcare assistants, providing leadership as Nurse in Charge or Ward Lead when required. Prioritise workloads, delegate effectively, and contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Maintain professional development through mandatory training, clinical supervision, and NMC revalidation while adhering to safeguarding legislation, medicines management policies, the Mental Capacity Act, and the NMC Code to deliver safe and compassionate care.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
- Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme. Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices.
- Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise.
