Senior Staff Nurse – Cardiology
Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Contract Type: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Temporary role until June 2027
Salary: Competitive + Shift Enhancement
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our cardiac department at The Wellington Hospital, the UK’s largest private hospital and currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Not only is The Wellington Hospital the largest private hospital in the UK, but we’re also home to the UK’s largest private critical care unit. As a Senior Staff Nurse in the Cardiology department, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical care to patients in the Adult Cardiac Department. Acting as the deputy to the Sister/Charge Nurse, you will help manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, facilitate effective communication within the multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe patient flow across clinical areas. You will be an advocate for patients and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

What you’ll bring:
- Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration.
- Experience in an adult cardiac setting, with a strong understanding of the clinical needs of cardiac patients.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
