Senior Registered Nurse - Wards (Fixed-Term)

We are inviting applications from experienced Registered Nurses to join our Ward Team at Berkshire Independent Hospital.

Based at Ramsay Health Care UK, we seek enthusiastic and experienced team players to deliver a high standard of clinical care whilst ensuring patient safety, confidentiality and dignity.

About the Role

This fixed-term position (ending 30/09/2027) is crucial for a team committed to delivering exceptional clinical outcomes. In this role, you will:

  • Be an integral part of a modern, thriving team
  • Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Relies on knowledge and experience to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

The ward is a busy department, so you must be able to:

  • Work effectively under pressure
  • Maintain a good sense of humour
  • Be highly motivated with flexible working hours
  • Take on additional and extended skills to enhance patient care

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

What You Bring To The Role

  • Registered nursing qualification (equivalent accepted)
  • NMC registration
  • Experience as a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse in a ward setting (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs
  • Demonstrated customer service and computer skills
  • Private healthcare experience – advantage but not essential
  • A commitment to continued professional development (essential)
