About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our team in the Teenage and Young Adult Daycare and Ambulatory Care Unit.
Requirements
- Band 6 Nurse (Paediatric or Adult)
- At least 2 years of cancer experience
- Proficient in chemotherapy administration
Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge and skills in caring for teenagers and young adults with a wide range of oncology and haematology conditions in a day care and ambulatory care setting
- Work across all units assessing patients for and delivery systemic anti-cancer therapy
- Provide supportive care in both outpatient and ambulating settings
- Provide holistic patient-centred care
