Senior Strategic Account Manager – Financial Services AI

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 Financial Services clients
  • Develop trusted executive relationships
  • Drive customer adoption, renewal, and expansion
  • Ensure measurable business value from Aveni’s AI platform

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to maximise long-term customer value, identify growth opportunities, and champion customer-centric innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale a strategic Tier 1 Financial Services account portfolio
  • Inform commerciale account growth plans aligned with client objectives
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with executives and C-suite stakeholders
  • Lead commercial renewals, negotiations, and expansion discussions
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption and define business outcomes
  • Represent the customer voice internally, influencing product direction and commercial strategy
  • Mitigate commercial risks to safeguard recurring revenue
  • Share ** market insights** on Financial Services, AI, and regulatory trends to fuel growth

Requirements

You’ll thrive as a seasoned enterprise account manager with a passion for strategic customer relationships and tangible commercial impact. Ideally, you should have:

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, AI, or software account management
  • Proven success in growing high-value strategic accounts, securing renewals, and boosting retention
  • Hands-on experience with large Financial Services organisations
  • Spiritual grasp of stakeholder management and executive communication
  • Strong commercial negotiation, planning, and relationship-building aptitude
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset with a commitment to excellence

(Nice to have but not mandatory: prior experience in AI compliance, regulated technology, or UK Financial Services networks—and navigating enterprise procurement and complex commercial deals.)
