Role Overview
As a Senior Strategic Consultant on a 12-month fixed-term contract, you will own and manage a portfolio of 20 customers, acting as their employee benefits strategy expert. This role focuses on shaping benefits strategy, supporting renewals and upsell opportunities, and driving long-term customer value. You will work with a mix of mid-market and enterprise customers across the UK, with some global exposure. You will be an individual contributor role with high autonomy, visibility and impact across Benifex.
Responsibilities
Own and manage a portfolio of approximately 20 customers Lead strategic benefits conversations as part of the renewal and growth cycle Advise customers on market trends, benefits design and implementation of new market benefits Build trusted relationships with senior HR, reward and leadership stakeholders Identify and support upsell, cross-sell and referral opportunities across Benifex offerings Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product Development and Platform Delivery teams Create and contribute to thought leadership content, insights and customer-facing materials Represent Benifex at customer meetings, workshops and industry events
What We Are Looking For
Experience in employee benefits, reward or HR consulting Proven experience advising mid-market and enterprise customers Strong benefits knowledge and ability to translate insight into clear strategy Strategic mindset with the ability to balance customer outcomes and commercial goals Confident, credible customer-facing communicator Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of a customer portfolio Proactive, curious and innovative approach to problem solving
