Senior Strategic Consulting PDM, System Integrators
Partner Development Manager (PDM) – UK & Ireland (System Integrators & Strategic Enterprise Growth)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager (PDM) to own the strategic growth and field activation of a portfolio of System Integrators (SIs) across the UK & Ireland.
This is not a pipeline administration role. Your responsibility resides heavily in the field, collaborating with partners to drive joint go-to-market (JGTM) execution, co-develop solutions, and accelerate revenue through targeted co-sell motions.
As the UKI Strategic Consulting Partners team’s PDM, you will:
- Develop, enable, and grow select System Integrators as key AWS partners
- Define and execute joint GTM strategies, monitor program progress, and support direct sales across joint opportunities
- Identify comprehensive cross-sell and upsell revenue streams against AWS business priorities
- Leverage deep expertise in enterprise IT transformation, ERP, data centre exit strategies, and Modernisation migrations to propel AWS adoption through strategic System Integrator partnerships
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Relationship Ownership
- Act as the primary strategic advisor and activation lead for each System Integrator portfolio
- Develop and execute Partner Business Plans, translating capabilities into measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes
2. Joint Go-to-Market Leadership
- Design and implement vertical solution roadmaps (e.g. cloud migration, GenAI, industry transformations)
- Align partners with field interactions, demand generation campaigns, and activation programmes
3. Field Activation & Co-Sell Execution
- Spend majority time in the field with System Integrator sellers and AWS account teams, engaging in:
- GTM workshops, joint customer sessions, and acceleration events
- Proactive deal support – qualifying and advancing both Amazon-Originated (AO) and Partner-Originated (PO) opportunities
- Optimising cross-selling motions whilst streamlining value-added tech transfer

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
