A leading financial services organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Strategy Analyst to join a high profile strategic function, supporting senior leadership to shape commercial priorities, evaluate strategic opportunities and deliver business critical initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex commercial problems, influencing senior stakeholders and turning strategic ideas into practical delivery plans. Working across multiple business functions, you will help drive initiatives that improve commercial performance and support long-term growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the development and delivery of strategic commercial initiatives
  • Analysing commercial opportunities, market trends and business performance to inform strategic decisions
  • Working with technology, product and commercial teams to translate strategy into executable plans
  • Building business cases, investment proposals and strategic recommendations
  • Defining delivery milestones, governance and success measures across strategic programmes
  • Producing clear, board quality presentations and updates for senior stakeholders
  • Challenging assumptions through data, analysis and commercial insight
  • Supporting annual strategic planning and longer term commercial priorities

What we're looking for

  • Experience within strategy consulting, corporate strategy, commercial strategy or business transformation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives within a large or complex organisation
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of revenue growth, pricing or commercial performance
  • Comfortable balancing strategic analysis with practical execution

Experience gained within financial services, market data, information services or another commercially complex environment would be advantageous. We would also welcome applications from candidates currently working within consulting who are looking to move into an in-house strategy role.
