THE TEAM
Our Strategy team is at the heart of shaping easyJet’s future. We define and articulate the direction of the business, working closely with teams across Commercial, Operations, and Finance. From strategic planning and fleet decisions to mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, we help tackle the most challenging and complex problems facing the airline.
THE ROLE
As Senior Strategy Manager, you will lead high-impact strategic initiatives that drive easyJet’s long-term success. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you’ll partner with senior leadership to shape our strategic direction, deliver critical programmes, and ensure tangible business outcomes. This role offers significant exposure to the Airline Management Board and PLC Board topics, combining rigorous problem solving, stakeholder influence, and hands-on delivery.

- Develop hypothesis-led solutions to complex business challenges across a range of business areas
- Challenge existing organisational perspectives through analysis, benchmarking, and problem solving
- Drive progress of complex, cross-functional, business critical programmes through disciplined project management and strong stakeholder collaboration
- Build strong relationships and influence key business stakeholders, including senior executives (CEO, CFO, COO, CCO)
- Manage and perform high-quality quantitative and qualitative research to identify and validate opportunities
- Lead teams of direct and indirect reports to deliver successful project outcomes
- Manage easyJet’s annual strategic planning process, including demand forecasting, competitive intelligence, strategic initiative identification, and development of the five-year financial model in conjunction with Finance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to lead structured, data-led problem solving in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel; experience with SQL, BI platforms, or financial modelling (CFA/ACA/MBA or equivalent) is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in PowerPoint; confident presenting complex insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Strong project and stakeholder management experience, with a track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives and motivating teams
- Deep commercial and business awareness, with an understanding of business performance, cost consciousness, and the long-term impact of strategic decisions; experience in an in-house strategy team or top-tier consultancy, ideally with an aviation focus, is preferred
- Open to new ideas, challenges existing ways of thinking, and thrives in dynamic, uncertain environments; demonstrates ownership, resilience, and adaptability

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
