About The Role

Uber Eats is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Global Retail Growth team and act as both the analytical engine and program leader of our growth strategy. You will focus specifically on consumer insights and behaviours, owning the end to end process of rigorous data analysis to identify high-impact opportunities, crafting recommendations around the world and partnering with local teams to execute the growth strategy.

This role calls for a combination of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Regional Operations, Strategic Finance, Marketing, Data Science, and more to build and scale growth initiatives that have a lasting impact on Uber's Retail business.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Uncover behavioral insights: Leverage Uber's data to identify and analyze consumer behavioral patterns that inform the Retail growth strategy.
  • Synthesize complex data: Act as a structural communicator, distilling raw data into concise, high-level insights for stakeholders across Regional Operations, Product, Finance and Leadership
  • Partner with global stakeholders: Build and maintain strong relationships with regional leads and product partners, ensuring that data-driven insights are aligned with local market needs and global product roadmaps.
  • Manage programs: Develop and execute end-to-end initiatives across consumer growth, marketing tools and frameworks to local teams to ensure adoption and maximum impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify areas for optimization and iterate on processes to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Business acumen: 3-5 years of experience with time in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, growth or a related field
  • Analytical toolkit: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform decisions, Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools; SQL experience preferred
  • Structured communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
  • Cross-Functional engagement: Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and driving results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail / E-commerce experience: Understanding the interactions across a portfolio of categories to address different consumer use cases
  • Advanced proficiency in data programming languages: Comfortable in SQL and visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Fluency in AI tools: Comfortable using ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code etc to leverage your capacity and drive outsized productivity
