Senior / Principal / Associate Structural Engineer - Building Structures
Location: London
Salary: Competitive, according to skills and experience (7-10 years’ experience)
£58,000 - £70,000 + Annual Bonus
This nationwide Building Structures Engineering consultancy have recently established a London office and are now seeking a Principal / Associate level Structural Engineer to join their team. You will act as the lead consultant on projects providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team as well as ensuring that the C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
To be considered you will have:
- A desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and mentor junior staff.
- Experience developing Structural/Civil Engineering designs for projects through various project stages autonomously.
- Comfort in developing engineering concepts and communicating them to clients, architects, and staff in meetings.
- Ability to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures.
- Ability to manage the preparation of such calculations by junior staff.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and communicate this to colleagues.
- Comfort representing the company at both internal and external meetings.
