Senior Structural Designer
CB&I is seeking a Structural Designer 3 - Contractor for 9 months based in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
Scope Of Services
Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector. Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets Produce structural design drawings / 3d models etc Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS provide checking of structural drawings Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate

Skills/ Experience
Computer literate in Microsoft office applications and relevant discipline specific software AutoCAD 2D & 3D PDMS LFM Recap Pro Simulate) Ability to investigate and interpret data willing to travel offshore/site and capable of completing site surveys Brownfield Project Experience desirable. Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry will be preferable but not essential Suitable design experience within other engineering industries will be considered where appropriate.
