About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer who is either Chartered or approaching Chartership to join a growing team in Sheffield.
The role offers:
- Exposure to a varied workload across multiple sectors, materials, and project types
- Close collaboration with colleagues across different engineering disciplines
- Ownership of projects and development of practical solutions for clients

Key Responsibilities
- Produce structural designs and calculations for a variety of projects
- Work with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures
- Prepare technical reports and design documentation
- Attend client, contractor, and design team meetings
- Undertake site visits and inspections
- Collaborate with civil and geotechnical teams
- Deliver practical and cost-effective engineering solutions
Experience Required
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience within a structural engineering consultancy
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- Experience designing building structures
- Good understanding of UK design standards
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience using MasterSeries, Fastrak, or Strand7
- Exposure to multiple sectors and construction materials
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
