Position
Senior Structural Design Engineer

- Salary: £48k–£58k
An excellent and ambitious senior structural design engineer is sought to join this award-winning and progressive firm of central London-based structural consultants.
- This is a rare opportunity to join one of London’s top practices.
- The firm is a medium-sized, growing practice with a focus on architecturally challenging buildings design projects.
- Projects range from small to £50m in value.
- Engineers are encouraged to:
- Take responsibility for their own projects.
- Attend client and architect meetings.
- Liaise directly with clients and architects.
- The firm looks for top-class candidates who will contribute to their existing team and drive further growth.
- They have won several industry awards for their work.
Requirements
- Experience: Varied buildings design experience, ideally:
- With a reputable UK-based structural engineering firm.
- Demonstrated on a diverse range of projects (new build, refurbishment, timber).
- Handling projects of multiple scales.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Technical excellence in structural design.
- Strong communication skills.
- Architectural flair and design sensitivity.
- Confidence in taking full project ownership.
- Enthusiasm for wide-ranging project diversity.
- Location Preference:
- Priority given to London-based candidates (work-from-home flexibility may be considered, though collaboration is key).
