About the Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll design and contribute to high-impact projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Detailed design, calculations, specifications, and drawings aligned with project deadlines.
  • Leadership of CAD/Revit Technicians and Junior/Graduate Engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead design projects by defining client briefs, technical scope, budgets, and deliverables (e.g., reports, specifications, schedules).
  • Align service levels with Project Leader/Project Manager, ensuring client-specific expectations are met.
  • Assess resource requirements (engineering/CAD/Revit personnel) for project efficiency.
  • Execute concept-to-detailed design phases, tender submissions, and contract documentation.
  • Site attendance for on-site reviews (design verification, surveys) to advance projects.
  • Co-ordinate design teams, ensuring seamless interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Contribute to design/project meetings, internal reviews, and leadership-driven checkpoints.
  • Monitor progress and financial budgets while adapting to design variations and client needs.
  • Maintain strong client/team relationships for sustained satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Degree: BEng, MSc in Structural/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in design consultancy/main contracting (Structural Engineering).
  • H zgin – Data Centre Structural Design Experience is a major plus.
  • Pursuit of professional accreditation (Chartered status, BSc/BEng qualifications).
  • Technical competency: Proficiency in Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or similar software.
