The Opportunity

Our Client is an award-winning structural and civil engineering consultancy with offices across London. Known for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, our client works on a diverse range of projects from complex refurbishments and heritage buildings through to large-scale residential, commercial, education, healthcare and infrastructure developments. Due to continued growth, Our Client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its London office. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, manage client relationships, mentor junior engineers and contribute to technically challenging projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
  • Prepare and review structural designs using a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Undertake structural assessments, refurbishment and alteration schemes.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer (MIStructE/MICE) or actively working towards Chartership.
  • Proven experience within a UK engineering consultancy environment.
  • Strong design experience across a variety of building structures.
