Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Student Counsellor (UK Higher Education) to join our London office on a full-time, on-site basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Advising prospective international students on suitable UK universities, courses, and study pathways based on their academic background and career goals.
- Conducting one-to-one consultations.
- Assessing student eligibility.
- Supporting university applications.
- Providing visa and compliance guidance.
- Ensuring an excellent student experience throughout the admissions process.

The role also includes:
- Maintaining strong relationships with students and their families.
- Liaising with partner universities.
- Delivering information sessions.
- Achieving recruitment targets.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Staying up to date with UK higher education policies and admission requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in student counselling, university admissions, or student recruitment within the UK or overseas (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of UK universities, colleges, admissions procedures, and student recruitment processes.
- Good understanding of UK student visa regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to convert enquiries into successful enrolments.
- Proven experience in student counselling and career guidance.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a student-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM or student management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Education, Business, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
