What You Will Be Doing

This specialised role focusses on the Student Records System (SITS) and provides technical system advice throughout the student lifecycle including:

  • Working with the Student Systems Manager, acting as a senior technical specialist for the Student Records System, supporting complex queries and troubleshooting
  • Leading and supporting system development, configuration changes, and testing activities
  • Delivering data validation, quality assurance processes and exception reporting
  • Providing expert guidance and training to academic and professional services users
  • Work collaboratively with IT, Data Governance, and Business Intelligence teams to improve systems and processes
  • Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the student lifecycle

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience working with SITS or student record systems in an administrative or technical role
  • Experience supporting complex system or data queries
  • Advanced IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
  • Understanding of data quality processes, validation and reporting
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
