We’re looking for a commercially minded and data-driven individual to help drive subscriber growth and maximise customer value across our News and Puzzles products. This role will play a key part in shaping pricing and proposition strategies, leading trading performance initiatives, and supporting the delivery of compelling subscriber offers.
Working cross-functionally with teams including Insights and Analytics, you’ll use customer and performance data to optimise results, improve subscriber outcomes, and support the development of new products and upgrade opportunities. From managing end-to-end price rise activity to identifying new growth opportunities, this is an exciting role at the heart of our subscription business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead subscription trading performance across News and Puzzles products, using data and customer insight to analyse churn and cancellation trends and identify actionable opportunities for growth.
- Lead the development and enhancement of subscription packs and propositions, including the launch of new products and initiatives designed to upgrade subscribers to higher-value offerings.
- Manage the end-to-end price rise process, ensuring subscribers transition smoothly to appropriate pricing tiers while maximising retention and revenue performance.
- Partner closely with Insights and Analytics to identify revenue optimisation opportunities, using data and performance insights to inform strategic decision-making and improve customer outcomes.
- Support the delivery of subscriber upgrade and save strategies, leveraging the in-house dynamic offer recommendation tool to drive targeted and effective customer journeys.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to improve processes, enhance execution, and support the efficient delivery of commercial priorities.
- Support the Commercial Executive in refining briefing processes and coordinating day-to-day activity across the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
