Salary on appointment will be £25,429 per annum, with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum.
UEA Retail & Catering Services are seeking a confident and enthusiastic supervisor to become part of the supervisory team at TheShop@UEA.
Previous supervisory experience within the retail industry is essential and you must have the ability to lead and coach a team, as our services are primarily staffed with temporary, mainly student, staff.
The role is a combination of:
- Shop floor supervision
- Customer service
- Warehouse duties
- Deputising for management
- Ordering of stock and stock management
- Administration
- Project work

Due to the nature of the business, the role will involve evenings during term-time, early mornings and weekends. Working hours are 36.25 per week, working on a rota basis any five days in seven.
You’ll enjoy time off during our closure periods over Christmas and Easter and have an increased opportunity to take leave during the summer months compared with the rest of the retail industry.

This full-time post is available from 17 August 2026 on an indefinite basis.
