Senior Supervisor
Senior Supervisor – Kent Highways Contract
Business Unit: 101 – Kent Location: Swanley
Ringway is recruiting a Senior Supervisor to join our team on the new Kent Highways contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality highway maintenance services across the region.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of reactive and routine highway maintenance works
- Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all operations
- Overseeing a team of Supervisors and Operatives
- Driving performance, supporting development, and aligning works with contractual and client expectations

- Lead and manage supervisors and operational teams across the contract
- Oversee the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Monitor performance, productivity, and quality of works delivered
- Support the Area Manager in achieving contract KPIs and objectives
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
Person Specification
- Proven experience within highways maintenance or a similar operational environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-level teams
- Good understanding of reactive and routine maintenance delivery
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach

Contract Details
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full time (40 hours, Monday to Friday)
