About The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Supply Chain Manager to play a critical role in shaping and delivering a best-in-class supply chain strategy across our Highways business. In this high-profile role, you’ll align supply chain priorities with wider business objectives, ensuring we have the right partners, capabilities and capacity to deliver complex infrastructure programmes successfully.

Working closely with procurement leadership, project teams and key suppliers, you will build and embed a sector-leading approach to supplier relationship management.

This is an opportunity to lead at scale, driving performance, improving resilience and influencing how we work with our supply chain to deliver safer, more efficient and more sustainable outcomes for our customers.

The role is UK flexible, with travel to key Highways locations and projects as required.

  • Drive category strategies across key spend areas to maximise value and support effective project delivery
  • Provide market insight through analysis of supplier capacity, capability and trends to inform decision-making
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance performance and collaboration
  • Oversee supply chain performance management, using data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards to provide clear visibility of performance, risks and opportunities
  • Partner with project teams to ensure supply chain solutions are fully integrated and outcome-focused
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery through supply chain engagement and innovation
  • Lead and develop a team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Support sustainability, digital, and process transformation initiatives across procurement and supply chain

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
