The Role at a Glance

As our Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for the implementation and day-to-day execution of the Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment program, supporting regional data center construction. The OFCI Program includes procurement of critical mechanical, electrical, and power systems, ensuring quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery to global construction projects.

You will:

  • Represent the Supply Chain organization and engage with project teams on strategic and tactical project delivery activities.
  • Align supply chain strategies with project build schedules, cost, design, and capacity targets.
  • Require expertise in construction project delivery and capital supply chain management in mission-critical environments.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a relevant field.

Experience

  • Minimum of six years in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in mission-critical or data centre construction support (including capital equipment procurement).
  • Experience working with electrical/mechanical system suppliers, with a focus on system integrators (modules, skids, etc.).
  • Data center construction experience, including collaboration with suppliers and buyer’s agents (general contractors).
  • Additional experience managing capital equipment or MEP procurement in data centres, hyperscale, industrial, or mission-critical environments.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • LEAN/Six Sigma training is valuable.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and MCIPS (Chartered Procurement and Supply Qualification) are preferred.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Insight into sustainability and ESG requirements within capital supply chains.

Language Skills

  • Additional European language (French, Spanish, or Italian) is advantageous.

What You Will Do

  • Support construction projects and critical facilities operations through implementation of the Global OFCI Program strategies.
  • Develop and execute project-specific OFCI equipment supply chain activities, including:
    • Multi-year forecasting, sourcing, production planning, negotiations, procurement, logistics, quality, and distribution.
    • Alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure OFCI equipment orders are placed on time to meet schedules, mitigating risks such as late deliveries, while maintaining high on-time delivery rates.
  • Collaborate with project controls and finance to share procurement status, budget utilization, and installation progress for cost accountability.
  • Manage the impact of design changes with suppliers, ensuring fair and reasonable equipment pricing.
  • Anticipate issues proactively to prevent disruptions internally and externally, guiding business decisions.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for global OFCI programs to benchmark supplier performance and drive improvement.
  • Serve as the first-level escalation point for OFCI concerns, including vendor disputes, schedule issues, delayed payments, changes of work, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensure OFCI suppliers meet commissioning schedules and quality requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in best-practice procurement processes for:
    • Mechanical, electrical, and data center-specific equipment.
    • Agreement clauses, pricing, cost adjustments, supplier qualification, vendor selection, and logistics.
  • Require strong communication, analytical, and presentation abilities for supply chain updates.
  • Travel requirements: 10%–25% of the time; ability to work remotely from a location with stable internet.
