Job Description
Role Overview
As a Senior Supply Chain Professional, you will coordinate end-to-end procurement activities while adhering to WSUK governance and compliance protocols.
Core Duties
- Support the Procurement Manager in managing key sub-contractors, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Manage risks and opportunities relating to supply chain activities.
- Attend and support internal, external, and supplier programme reviews, engaging with the relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in leading special projects and priority tasks supporting operational programmes.
Essential Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven expertise in procurement/supply chain within a production environment.
- Sub-contract management experience—with a track record in materials management bridging supply needs to production.
- Contract negotiation and management skills, including supplier performance analysis.
- ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP), covering PO creation, maintenance, expediting, and invoicing.

You’ll join the Weapon Systems UK (WSUK) team under BAE Systems Platforms and Services Sector. As part of this division, WSUK designs, develops, manufactures, and supports artillery systems, naval guns, and engineering solutions that address critical needs across air, land, and sea.
