Senior Supply Planner – Crockpot, Breville
Location: Manchester area (Cheadle), UK
Reports to: Supply Planning Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Senior Supply Planner, you will lead supply planning activities for kitchen category (brands: Crockpot, Breville, Sistema & FoodSaver) across EMEA while managing a team of 3–4 Supply Planners. You will be responsible for balancing inventory, service levels, demand requirements, and supply constraints to ensure product availability and excellent customer service.

Working from our Cheadle office on a hybrid basis, you will partner closely with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training and development opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supply planning operations across the Kitchen portfolio, ensuring product availability while balancing inventory and working capital objectives.
  • Drive inventory performance, focusing on service levels, stock optimization, and reduction of Excess & Obsolete inventory (E&O).
  • Analyse planning data and business performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions to support customer service and sales goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Logistics to align supply plans and business priorities.
  • Support S&OP and planning review processes, providing insights on supply constraints, inventory implications, and recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and international teams to ensure continuity of supply and effective order fulfillment.
  • Champion continuous improvement and AI adoption, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and enhance decision-making through tools such as Copilot and other planning technologies.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3–4 Supply Planners, providing coaching, guidance, and performance support.
  • Utilise SAP APO, SAP IBP, Excel, and reporting tools to drive planning effectiveness and operational excellence.

What You'll Need

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain operations, including leading a planning team.
  • Strong experience working with SAP planning systems or similar planning solutions (SAP APO preferred).
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally (domestically and internationally)

Your Advantage

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting seasonal and promotional product portfolios.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people and processes.
  • Power BI reporting experience.
